He meant that he would like to be comfortable, but he didn't want to have it so built up that he was all about money or that he was all about possessions. Or all about what money can do. Sometimes its just best to think through, do I really need this? Is the want worth, what it is going to require? That's some simple advice. But at the end of the day, it works.
