For most people there are two major decisions to make concerning their financial well-being.  The first is the life-long accumulation of retirement funds.  The second is the very important time of living from those funds in retirement.  Mitch Tapson understands this process and works with his clients to achieve this outcome. He began his business career early in life as an insurance agent for his father, eventually owning the agency.  He earned his bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He became a minister later in life and still serves Hillcrest Community Church as Pastor.  He was licensed for investments in 2007.  Mr. Tapson holds the Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses.  He is licensed to sell life and health insurance (AR. Ins. Lic. #9582697).  In 2009, Mr. Tapson joined Cardinal Investment Group.  In addition to advising his clients in financial planning and investments, he brings expertise with variable annuity analysis, financial counseling, and fiduciary issues of 401(k) retirement plans.  He and his wife Linda have been married for over 50 years.  The have three daughters who all live in the central Arkansas area and most importantly, have given Mitch and Linda four granddaughters and four grandsons.
